| Be an Evaluator for Wal-Mart! We are looking for volunteers in the San Francisco Bay Area to evaluate Wal-Mart's services and programs, both in the store and on our Web site. Evaluators will be asked to test new services and give feedback so that we can improve the services for our customers. Evaluations usually take about an hour. An evaluator should have the following qualifications:
- Be a Wal-Mart store shopper
- Have Internet experience and have shopped online (browsed sites, have purchased products online, or both)
An evaluator should not be a Web or user interface designer, or a usability professional. An evaluator and household members cannot work for Wal-Mart Stores or a retail competitor. If you meet these qualifications and are interested in becoming an evaluator for Wal-Mart, please send an email to user_research@walmart.com that includes the following information:
- Your name and address
- Your company name
- Contact telephone number(s) (including area code)
- Contact email address
- Best time to contact you
- The type of computer you use to access the Internet (PC, Macintosh) and which browser you use (Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer)
We will include you on our list of volunteers and contact you about upcoming evaluations in the Bay Area. Note: This is not an offer of permanent or temporary employment. We will provide compensation in the form of a Wal-Mart Gift Card or another form chosen by Walmart.com. We're dedicated to providing our customers the best services possible, and you can help! Thank you.
